Feid has surprised everyone by releasing a long awaited song a few weeks after the launch of his album Mor, no le temas a la oscuridad. Fans were requesting it on social media –every one of his posts on TikTok, Instagram, or X contained a simple comment with just two words: ‘Ferxxo 30.’ And now, it’s finally here.
As a result, his sixth studio album is now complete with the track that all his fans were looking for. “FERXXITO TREINTICA, with all the love in the world, dedicated to Mor 💚💴 for all the toxic individuals around the world 💽 the precious gem 🕯️,” the artist himself expressed in Spanish) on his social media.
“I don’t know whether to cry, dance, or cry while dancing,” several fans have exclaimed. Alongside the song, the Colombian artist has shared a music video directed and produced, once again, by Sebas Sánchez.
Staying true to the mysterious vibe found throughout the album, the dominant visual elements are the striking colors of green and purple, combined with deep, shadowy tones.
With «Ferxxo 30,» Feid now adds another song to the list of tracks titled under one of his most popular aliases: Ferxxo. It joins the ranks of Ferxxo 150, 100, Feliz cumpleaños Ferxxo, and the only Ferxxo-themed song, among others. Could these songs be interconnected in some way?
On September 29th, Feid released Mor, No Le Temas A La Oscuridad (Love, Don’t Fear the Dark). This album showcases Feid’s bold exploration of new sounds combined with fan-favorites, featuring lyrics that will stay with you. The album’s title pays homage to the beloved 90s Nickelodeon show, ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’
This album is a sonic journey with a rich tapestry of sounds. It ventures into the world of Afrobeat with tracks like «Vente Conmigo» and «Bubalu» featuring Rema. You’ll also find electronic vibes in songs like «Luces de Tecno» and «Ferxxo 151» with ICON, as well as a touch of dancehall in «Niña Bonita» featuring Sean Paul. Feid doesn’t forget his urban roots, which shine in «Románticos de Lunes» and «Gangsters y Pistolas» feat. Ñengo Flow. And, of course, there’s reggaeton, exemplified by the collaboration «Ritmos de Mellado» with Ryan Castro. The album concludes with a slightly more alternative indie flavor in «Privilegios,» featuring Cupido.
