One thing is clear: Feid’s talent is reaching new heights, and with this album, he cements his career following a year filled with successes. Feid journeyed all the way to Los Angeles to collaborate on some of the tracks included in this exciting new project. Staying true to his roots, he chose to work with his lifelong collaborators—Sky Rompiendo, Wain, and ICON (Jowan and Rolo)—who have been by his side for years. Together, they’ve crafted Mor, No Le Temas A La Oscuridad.
This album is a sonic journey with a rich tapestry of sounds. It ventures into the world of Afrobeat with tracks like «Vente Conmigo» and «Bubalu» featuring Rema. You’ll also find electronic vibes in songs like «Luces de Tecno» and «Ferxxo 151» with ICON, as well as a touch of dancehall in «Niña Bonita» featuring Sean Paul. Feid doesn’t forget his urban roots, which shine in «Románticos de Lunes» and «Gangsters y Pistolas» feat. Ñengo Flow. And, of course, there’s reggaeton, exemplified by the collaboration «Ritmos de Mellado» with Ryan Castro. The album concludes with a slightly more alternative indie flavor in «Privilegios,» featuring Cupido.
The collaboration between Feid and the group Cupido has been eagerly awaited by their fans. On the album’s release day, Feid decided to share the music video with the world, making «Privilegios» the album’s focus single. A few weeks ago, the group consisting of Pimp Flaco, Toni D, Dannel, Luichi Boy, and Al García discussed their upcoming collab with Feid in an interview with LOS40Urban. They shared that the collaboration came about when Feid contacted them, expressing his desire for them to be part of his album. The group emphasized that «Privilegios» aligns with their musical style, and Feid’s contribution fits seamlessly.
What does «Privilegios» sound like, according to Cupido? The group explained that Ferxxo aimed to capture their musical essence. ‘We didn’t want to create an imposed reggaeton,’ Toni explained. «What Feid appreciates about Cupido isn’t reggaetons because we don’t produce them. He simply appreciates Cupido. When we shared the initial demos with him, he loved them and saw it as the right direction,» Toni added. As of today, «Privilegios» is available for you to enjoy on repeat.
Salomón Villada Hoyos, the artist’s real name, has shared some valuable tips with his fans to fully immerse themselves in his new album. While we’ve already had the chance to listen to several of his songs prior to the release, Feid suggests a unique experience. He recommends listening to the entire album with the lights turned off and in sequence, without skipping any tracks. Furthermore, Feid believes the experience is enhanced when shared with someone else and played at maximum volume. Here are all the tips he shared in his latest Instagram post:
