Coachella 2023 ended last Sunday after two weekends full of strong emotions and dazzling performances. From Bad Bunny to Rosalía, as well as other iconic artists and bands like Gorillaz, Blink-182 or BLACKPINK, this edition of the festival will go down in history thanks to all of the amazing moments we enjoyed.
Of course, there has been time for a little bit of drama with Frank Ocean’s cancellation on weekend 2 or the ‘unintentional’ diss from Bad Bunny to Harry Styles. But despite all of this, Coachella has been wrapped up with a great vibe.
If you weren’t able to watch your favorite artists give their on stage, here are some of the highlights that Coachella 2023 has left us.
There’s no doubt that Bad Bunny made history this year at Coachella by becoming the first Latin and Spanish-speaking artist to headline the festival. His performance of ‘Safaera‘ with Jowell y Randy and Ñengo Flow as guest artist was simply spectacular.
He also lit up the stage with some of the anthems that catapulted him to fame, such as ‘Titi Me Preguntó‘, ‘Moscow Mule‘, ‘La Difícil’ or ‘Yo Perreo Sola‘. He was also joined on the stage by Post Malone and Jhay Cortez a.k.a ‘Jhayco’.
Rosalía has consolidated her legend status after her astonishing performances at the desert. She delivered amaizing shows, singing some of her most chart-topping songs like ‘Saoko‘, ‘Despechá‘ and ‘La Fama‘.
One of the biggest moments of her set was when the Latin Star (and her fiancé) Rauw Alejandro came up to the stage to perform the very sensual ‘Vampiros‘, from their collab album ‘RR‘. We are simply hypnotized by their ‘perreo’ moment.
Rosalía also invited her fellow artist and friend Tokischa to perform together ‘LINDA‘ on the second weekend.
‘Shower‘ was the song with which Becky G achieved mainstream success, entering the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. For this reason, her performance of this hit at Coachella has a special meaning to Becky and her fans.
«Mira, some things don’t go the way you have planned. But sometimes it’s no rejection, is redirection. That’s what happened with my last song. I have learned so much. So, if it’s someone here that’s doubting the journey, trust it, have faith, it always works out. I promise».
After the success of this release, Becky G consolidated her career, becoming one of the biggest Latin music artists in the scene.
Moreover, the crowd went crazy after the rising Mexican star Peso Pluma went onto the stage to perform with Becky G their amazing ‘Chanel‘. Combining an innovative vibe with the main regional Mexican style, the collab debuts on our Lista Los40 this week at the #16 position.
Zendaya also performed at Coachella live for the first time in 7 years in an great appearance by crashing Labrinth set to perform ‘Euphoria’ tracks ‘I’m Tired’ and ‘All for Us’.
Channelling an iconic style in the vibe of the HBO teen drama’s style, Zendaya delivered an spectacular show wearing black leather boots and a stylish pink consert dress. She also showed some of her iconic dance moves while the public went totally crazy.
The band also made an hypnotizing performance of ‘Never Felt So Alone’ with Billie Elilish at the first weekend of the festival. We can’t stop replaying!
Coachella left moments to remember some of the memories that iconic songs like Blink-182’s ‘I Miss You‘ bring back to us.
The crowd joined the band in a beautiful and nostalgic atmosphere where thousands of voices sang together. As The Weeknd’s recently tweeted, we also feel that ‘I miss you‘ is one of the greatest songs ever written.
