The life and career of Britney Spears have been plagued by countless situations that would demoralize even the strongest. However, the Princess of Pop is still standing strong, resiliently enduring life’s blows. Both metaphorically (parental guardianship, family relationships, separation from her children) and literally.

The singer has confirmed through her social media accounts her version of the events that had spread like wildfire during the afternoon of July 6 at a Las Vegas hotel. There, Britney Spears was brutally assaulted by the security team of a basketball player whom she had approached to greet.

The versions of events are all very similar, including those from witnesses, as well as family and friends who were with both protagonists of this story. But to leave no doubt, the singer has made her version clear on social media, stating that there is no excuse for condoning violent behavior.

In fact, Britney Spears has filed an assault complaint against the NBA player’s security team and demanded public apologies from anyone involved through her channel.

Here is the complete message from the Princess of Pop after the brutal assault she endured:

Britney highlights the difficulty in understanding the reason behind the NBA player’s violence, as he attempted to justify it by claiming he was grabbed from behind. For someone from Victor Wembanyama’s security team, resorting to violence may cost them more than they anticipated, and without impunity.

In a statement shared by Associated Press, Wembanyama stated the following:

«She grabbed me from behind, and we didn’t know she was the singer from ‘Womanizer.’ I just know the security pushed her away. I don’t know with how much force but security pushed her away. I didn’t stop to look so I could walk in and enjoy a nice dinner,”Victor Wembanyama on the Las Vegas incident
