Britney Spears is back in the spotlight after several media outlets reported the incident suffered by the singer at the hands of a bodyguard of Victor Wembanyama, player of the San Antonio Spurs.
According to the TMZ portal, it all happened at Catch, the famous Las Vegas casino, when the singer got up from her table in the restaurant to approach the player, as she wanted to ask him for a picture as she is a fan of his. In fact, Britney would have tried to get his attention by tapping him on the back to call him, to which the aforementioned bodyguard would react by slapping the singer, even making her glasses fall to the ground.
After what happened, Britney returned to her table, but would later receive apologies from the bodyguard, who told her «you understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans», according to the media. However, although Britney accepted them, her team filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Department, accusing the security personnel of battery.
A very reprehensible attitude against one of our favorite divas of all time that has undoubtedly aroused a wave of comments on social media criticizing the indicent.
