Britney Spears Reveals Alleged Justin Timberlake Infidelity

Despite Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman in Me’ has not having been released yet –just one week to go–, it has already sparked significant controversy. Just yesterday, the singer revealed that she had an abortion involving Justin Timberlake when she was only 19 years old. Now, Britney has once again stirred the pot by confessing that Justin was also unfaithful to her during their romantic relationship.

Remember that the exact reason for their breakup had always been in doubt, but Britney was blamed for infidelity towards Justin, and she carried that reputation for years. As reported by TMZ, Britney doesn’t disclose in her book the identity of the woman with whom Justin allegedly cheated on her, stating that this woman, who, by the way, was or still is also a celebrity, now has a family, and Britney doesn’t want to embarrass her.

After their relationship ended in 2002, Justin released the song «Cry Me a River,» which became a hit and, according to sources, he admitted to writing it after a heated argument with Spears. This led many to believe that she had been unfaithful to him.

Chris Applebaum, the director of Britney’s music video «Overprotected Darkchild Remix,» revealed that Justin ended their relationship via a text message while she was filming the video. Not the most honorable way to conclude so many years together. On the other hand, Britney never denied the accusations and, the following year, released «Everytime,» a song that, according to her co-composer, was a direct response to «Cry Me a River.»

As time passes, secrets from the past are gradually coming to the surface and being revealed. Although it remains unclear who may have cheated on whom first, one thing is certain: fans of both artists will undoubtedly delve into these revelations, connecting the dots and forming various theories. For instance, some fans have speculated that «Everytime» is, in fact, about Britney’s pregnancy and abortion, particularly because the music video concludes with a scene of a woman giving birth.

We will also have to wait a bit longer for Britney’s book to be released to discover what other revelations it holds.
