It was during the concert the young artist was giving at the Music Midtown festival in Atlanta when, between songs, Billie Eilish took a break to rest and took the opportunity to chat with her fans. Sitting on the stage alongside her brother Finneas, they both confirmed that the album is already finished, ready for release, and it’s a big project.

They haven’t confirmed a specific release date, but what they have stated is that it will be «soon.» Furthermore, Billie herself has mentioned that the next time she meets with her fans, the album will already be out.

No News on ‘BE3’

And as of today, that’s the only information we have because neither the album’s title nor how many songs it will contain, nor the album cover, has been revealed.

All this buzz about the third studio work of the «bad guy» singer, which began recording in November 2022, started when she shared on an Instagram live that she was working on the songs that will make up the album.

Billie Eilish in ‘Barbie’

This album is not the only thing Billie’s fans can enjoy this year. The singer was one of the artists responsible for providing music for the Barbie movie, which was released on July 21. Alongside Karol G, Sam Smith, and Ava Max, Eilish composed a song for the movie’s soundtrack, starring Margot Robbie.

The title of the track she composed is «What Was I Made For?« and it was released on July 13. In the song, Billie’s voice is accompanied only by the sound of a piano as she reflects on the reasons «we were made,» a theme that is also reflected in the movie’s plot.
