Part of our team from DePelícula40, asked Billie her opinion about the film and the message that girls and teenager should fulfill their dreams, to which the singer responded with some beautiful and wise words, mentioning that we should all be able to fulfill our dreams.
She also mentioned that she likes the realness of the film and how it projects what it is to be a woman, a girl, and in general being a human being, and how difficult it can be sometimes. She’s right saying that women should be whoever they want to be. Girl power!
America Ferrera confessed that she never played with Barbies, but what connects her with the film is the way in which she is changing the story we already knew before for one that includes us more and allows us to «see» ourselves on the screen.
