They say Christmas is a time of peace and love, but it must be that those who think so don’t know Arcángel and Anuel AA, who have decided to close the year with the biggest tiraera of 2023.
It was the veteran who confessed that Emmanuel was not his friend, and even on December 11, he released «Feliz Navidad 8,» («FN8») a diss track making it clear that there’s anything but good vibes between them.
In fact, he confessed to Molusco during an interview that Anuel even envies Bad Bunny: «He’s a guy that when you mention Bad Bunny, his hair grows. Because he doesn’t have much. He’s insanely envious. If there’s someone who is an envious person, it’s that guy. He suffers from it.»
Arcángel didn’t stop there and joined the TikTok trend that his fans are sharing, using the audio from the beginning of his diss track. It was a provocation that many were expecting a response to, and it came in the last few hours.
Anuel’s Moves
First, we saw Anuel change his profile picture on social media, putting up a montage that showed him arrested while Arcángel holds him and Bad Bunny and Molusco follow behind.
Then came a TikTok video addressing his adversary: «You dropped a diss saying you were going to destroy my career, and I haven’t even dissed you yet, and you’re a fool, man, you’re no longer a legend. There’s no fixing this. If people only knew.»
«In less than 24 hours, you called to apologize. Daddy Yankee is a legend. You talk crap about him now that he has retired. Drowning in failure. You’re ungrateful, that’s why so many things happen to you,» he added in the same video.
Anuel’s Diss Track
Well, we have a diss track in response now, «Glock Glock Glock.» «You know who I am, no need to introduce myself, you want to kill me, but you won’t play that card,» begins a lengthy text where he unloads on some urban artists, especially Arcángel, but also Bad Bunny and Mora.
«You made a diss, saw me, and cried. Tempo (Cries), you were my idol, and now you’re a disaster (You’re a disaster). Arca, here we see you, but in 2010, you fell short (Ha). 129 thousand people at a concert in Venezuela (Understand?). You can’t do that even if you die and come back (Understand?),» he adds about his main enemy.
Only one is spared, but not really, as he hasn’t defended him but rather the opposite: «Of all of you, Coscu is the only worthy warrior. And he couldn’t kill me, not even if I shoot myself. He’s afraid of Coscu, that’s why they never clashed. He dissed you, and you acted blind like José Feliciano.»
«There’s a big difference between a leader and a disciple. Four albums at Billboard number one, and still, my happiness is shattered,» he says at one point. And he doesn’t leave out his role as a father and the daughter he shares with Yailin la Más Viral, who caused a scandal with Tekashi 6ix9ine this weekend: «I know I’m a piece of shit; a cop is taking care of my daughter. If it’s not with Bad Bunny, it won’t hit you; you have to diss me. You don’t even know me, fool, tell me what you’re going to make up. You don’t scare anyone, not even your street buddies. Arcángel’s Response
Arcángel’s response on social media was not delayed: «Damn, man, what the hell is this? TELL me this is a lie, man! NOOOO! This has to be a joke! THAT SH*T WITH THE SAME FLOW, MAN! Man, I’m a super talent on the track!»
He began writing this text in a story and then recorded a video: «You don’t have people who love you, and your buddies told you that’s how you can mess with me.» After imitating some parts of his song, he concluded by saying, «the same flow throughout the whole song. You’re really high, man.»
But he wanted to go further. On December 18, the third diss track of this feud arrives as part of the Arcángel saga: «Narcan.»
The artist mentions Anuel’s girlfriend, Puerto Rico, the GRAMMYs, and the concerts he hasn’t canceled. We’ll have to wait to see if Enmanuel decides to release a fourth installment in this saga.
