Álvaro Días is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and music composer. During his musical career he has collaborated with various artists such as Feid, Rauw Alejandro, Sebastián Yatra, Yandel, Eladio Carrión, Myke Towers, among others.
He was the winner of a Tu Musica Urbana award for Best Tropical Fusion with N’Klabe and was the first urban Latino artist to be interviewed by Complex.
Díaz has more than 200 million global streams on his digital platforms, more than 57 million views on YouTube, and more than 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He lately released his collaboration son Paranormal with compatriot, Tainy.
Jorge Álvaro Díaz Rodríguez, better known as Álvaro Díaz, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Music is his main source of expression, but he also expresses himself through fashion and his own clothing brand, «Lv Ciudvd».
Among some of his most notable work is Deportivo with Cazzu, his acclaimed first studio album Ciudad De Los Niños Tristes, which includes the hits Reina Pepiada and Dale Duro; MERA with Dalex and Tainy, which became an instant hit upon its release, A Donde Van with Sebastian Yatra, Menos (-) and other collaborations with artists such as C.Tangana, Corina Smith and Yandel.
As he said, this new song is an ode to love a ballad that demonstrates his versatility as an artist, and also as a piece of his most vulnerable side, referring to the relationship between John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who were always together no matter what.
This song is a result of the great admiration that the Puerto Rican has for The Beatles. It’s also partly inspired by the relationship between his grandparents, who have been together all their lives.
