Adele on the Recent Trend of Throwing Objects on Stage: «If You Dare, I’ll F*ckin’ Kill You»

The British singer issued a lighthearted warning to the audience at her Las Vegas residency

Until recently, throwing an object onto the stage was one of the few ways a fan could communicate with one of their national or international idols. Many artists became viral news by showing what they received during their shows. But from virality, we have transitioned to danger after several performers have been hit in the head. This is something Adele seems unwilling to tolerate.

During the shows of her residency in Las Vegas over the weekend, the British singer issued a warning, not to the audience at that specific live performance (given the different profile due to ticket prices), but to anyone approaching her concerts: «Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you.»

«Have you noticed how people are like? Forgetting fucking show etiquette at the moment, peorple just throwing shit on stage» she explained during her show.

Adele was referring to the incidents experienced by Bebe Rexha, who had to be attended to by doctors after being hit in the head with a mobile phone, or Kelsey Ballerini, who had to stop her concert after being struck in the face with an object…

The curious thing about the English singer’s words and her subsequent laughter is that the warning came just as she was shooting a T-shirt into the audience as a souvenir. Although in this case, it’s certain that the trajectory and the object didn’t cause any harm to anyone.

«Stop throwing things at artists, when you can shoot them to people» Adele threatened, laughing.

This is a stance that Rosalía also defended not long ago when literally everything, including an expensive engagement ring, fell on her on stage.

At the time, the Spanish singer also proposed another possible solution for fans who couldn’t resist throwing something, which was as simple as aiming at the part of the stage where the artist isn’t present.
