Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, P¡nk and now Kelsea Ballerini. The country artist was singing ‘If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)’ at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise on Wednesday evening, when she was suddenly hit by a flying object.
Several videos on social media show how Ballerini immediately turns away from the crowd and talks to one of the members of the band before leaving the stage. Some minutes later, she returns and addresses the audience. “Can we just talk about what happened?”, she asked.
“All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know. If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it,” she went. “Don’t throw things. You know?”, she added.

Hours later, Kelsea posted some words dedicated to her fans via Instagram’s stories:
Kelsea Ballerini is the fourth female artist to be hit during a concert in the last few days. Bebe Rexha was also attacked with a mobile phone last week, Ava Max was slapped in the face by a person of the public, and a fan threw his mother’s ashes to P¡nk.
Several users on social media are sharing thoughts regarding this scary trend against female artists.

I’m so serious when I say the music industry needs to put live shows at a halt for a while. Because WTF?! Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, P!nk, and now Kelsea Ballerini? All in the span of under 2 weeks?! 🤬 https://t.co/2pTH2p4Co0
