The 68th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. But before the big night, fans and industry insiders alike are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the nominees, which will happen on November 7.
The nominations reveal will be streamed live starting at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET on the official Grammy website (live.GRAMMY.com) and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel. The event is expected to last about 30 minutes, with the full list published online immediately afterward. Previous Grammy winners such as Chappell Roan, Doechii, Karol G, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sam Smith will be the ones announcing this year’s nominees.
This year, the Grammys are introducing a few new categories. These include Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover. Additionally, the former Best Country Album category has been renamed Best Contemporary Country Album to better reflect today’s country music scene.

The nomination process involves two rounds of voting by active Recording Academy members, who cast ballots across more than 22 genres and 13 creative fields. The Grammys continue to evolve alongside the music industry, ensuring the awards remain fresh and relevant.
As always, industry experts and media outlets have begun speculating on who might receive nominations in the top categories. Some of the potential frontrunners could include Bad Bunny with Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Kendrick Lamar’s GNX, Lady Gaga’s Mayhem, SZA’s SOS Deluxe, and possible nominees like Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia and FKA Twigs’ EUSEXUA. Taylor Swift would likely be notably absent this year, since the eligibility period for submissions only covers releases between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Latin Grammy nominations were announced earlier this year in September, with Bad Bunny leading the list. The ceremony will take place on November 13 in Las Vegas.
