Taylor Swift is set to make her return to late-night television at a pivotal moment in both her personal and professional life. This will be her first televised interview since confirming her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, a headline-making announcement that has dominated entertainment news in recent weeks. The appearance also marks the kickoff of promotion for her highly anticipated new album, The Life of a Showgirl, due out October 3.

Swift will join The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 6, just three days after the album’s release. She’ll share the episode with actress Keri Russell and indie pop band The Format, who will provide the night’s musical performance. Fans can tune in on NBC at 11:35/10:35c, or stream the episode on Peacock the following day.

The news was revealed through a social media promo trailer that leaned heavily into the cabaret-inspired visuals central to Swift’s new project. True to form, she packed the clip with Easter eggs for fans—from her signature number 13 to dancers styled in Showgirl-themed costumes—along with the phrase that has become the album’s tagline: “And baby, that’s showbiz for you.”

Swift has a long-standing connection with Fallon’s show, often using it as a platform during major career milestones. Her last visit came in October 2022 to promote Midnights, following a 2021 appearance tied to Red (Taylor’s Version). Around that time, she also stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers and performed on Saturday Night Live.

To top off the rollout, fans can also experience Taylor Swift: The Official Showgirl Launch Party—an 89-minute special screening in theaters during the weekend after the album’s release.
