What Is ‘La Premiere’ and How to Watch Karol G’s Special in the U.S.?

The singer reveals a musical special that will be broadcast globally on television on December 7

Karol G continues to experience one of the most important moments of her career.

After a year full of milestones — including her performance at the Vatican alongside Andrea Bocelli, the NFL Halftime Show in Brazil, and her appearance in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show — the Colombian artist announced her new television project at the end of November: La Premiere.

What Is La Premiere?

La Premiere is a musical special created to present Tropicoqueta, her latest album, in a format different from a traditional concert. It is a visual album that blends music, imagery, and storytelling to showcase the inspiration and narrative behind the project.

The special aims to celebrate Latin American cultures and the unity of the Spanish-speaking community. For this reason, Karol has planned a simultaneous global broadcast, including the United States, as a tribute to families gathering around the TV “like in the old days.”

When Does La Premiere Air in the United States?

The live worldwide premiere will take place on December 7, 2025.
For viewers in the United States, the broadcast will air at:

  • 5:00 p.m. E.T.
  • Network: Univision
  • It will also air in Puerto Rico at the same time on Univision.

This schedule ensures that U.S.-based fans can watch the special almost simultaneously with the rest of the continent.

Will La Premiere Be Available Online?

For now, no official streaming option has been announced. It’s possible that the special will arrive on a digital platform after the TV broadcast, but nothing has been confirmed.

Does This Mean Karol G Might Announce a 2026 Tour?

Although Karol G wrapped up the successful Mañana Será Bonito Tour in 2024 and has had fewer live appearances since then, the artist mentioned in 2025 that she had no tour planned yet. She has not announced any 2026 tour dates for now, but given the scale of her recent projects, it wouldn’t be surprising if she shares new plans in the near future.
