Tyler, The Creator has officially released his highly anticipated album Don’t Tap the Glass, marking the ninth studio album in the career of the acclaimed hip-hop artist. He first revealed the title during a live show in Brooklyn on July 18, and after building excitement across his social media, the project is finally out.
Tyler began his journey in the music industry back in 2007, co-founding the rap collective Odd Future alongside Hodgy, Left Brain, and Casey Veggies. Since then, he’s become known as one of the most innovative and creative voices in modern music. But Tyler’s work goes far beyond just music—he’s also made his mark in fashion, design, and directing.
As he mentioned on social media, this new album is all about moving your body—a record made to be played loud. Released under Columbia Records, the LP features 10 solo tracks, each offering a fresh take on his ever-evolving sound.

Following Chromakopia (2024), an album filled with major collaborations featuring artists like Doechii, Childish Gambino, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, and Lola Young, fans had already started speculating about who might appear on Tyler’s next project.
But this time around, Tyler, The Creator has gone in a different direction—releasing a completely solo album that once again showcases his talent for musical experimentation and his commitment to standing out in today’s rap scene.

Tyler is still on the road with his Chromakopia tour, but fans are already asking when they’ll get the chance to experience Don’t Tap the Glass live. He’ll continue performing across the U.S. until August 9, wrapping up that leg of the tour in San Francisco. Then, after a short break, he’ll return to the stage on September 9 in Tokyo, kicking off his Asia tour. While we wait, we can turn up Don’t Tap the Glass and let it move us.
