This Monday, June 16, Disney+ confirmed the return of the teen series that captivated thousands of preteens around the world — Soy Luna is coming back with a brand-new season. That’s right, the original cast is reuniting for a story that promises to keep melting hearts.
Karol Sevilla, Michael Ronda, Ruggero Pasquarelli, Carolina Kopelioff, Malena Ratner, Gastón Vietto, and Agustín Bernasconi are all back for the project, which has already started filming and is set to premiere in 2026 — exactly 10 years after the show’s original debut.
“After so many years, the project that changed my life is coming back! My dear Luna Valente, you’re back!” Karol Sevilla wrote on social media, thrilling her millions of fans. “Thank you, Disney+, for making this dream come true. Childhood is returning for so many people today!” she added.

And Karol confirms it: “This story still isn’t finished.”

Although no details about the plot have been revealed yet, what we do know is that excitement is sky-high, and fans are already counting down the days to see Luna and the main cast back on screen.
One notable absence in Soy Luna is Valentina Zenere. The Argentine actress has not been confirmed as part of the cast—something that has caught the attention of many fans. While she’s now widely known in Spain for her role as Isadora in Élite, her fame began with Soy Luna, where she played the unforgettable Ámbar Smith.

Soy Luna was one of Disney’s most successful Spanish-language teen series, alongside Violetta. It aired between 2016 and 2018 in nearly 150 countries and was dubbed into 15 languages, reaching over 59 million viewers. The show also led to six music albums and international tours, including stadium-filled shows in countries like Uruguay, where it became a full-blown phenomenon.
Now, the cast of Soy Luna—who were teenagers back then—are returning as adults, ready to tell new stories.
