‘Élite’ Reveals the Release Date for Its 8th and Final Season: Where to Watch

Since it was announced that Élite would end with its eighth season, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release date. The presentation of the seventh season came with many new additions—including Spanish actress Maribel Verdú—and the news that the finale would arrive imminently. Now, we finally have the official release date for the final season.

The conclusion of the last episode released on Netflix left many plotlines open, some with a hint of farewell. As has been known for several seasons—these last episodes were filmed over a year ago—there will be new characters that will turn the latest events at Las Encinas upside down.

In this new batch of episodes, the Krawietz siblings, Héctor and Emilia, will arrive. They are two key members of the alumni association and will wreak havoc on the lives of those they encounter. Omar, another veteran of the series, will be the only one to stand against them to end the criminal tyranny that has plagued the exclusive school for years.

The cast from the 7th season, including Omar Ayuso, André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Gleb Abrosimov, Fernando Líndez, Nadia Al Saidi, Ander Puig, Carmen Arrufat, Mirela Balić, Iván Mendes, and Maribel Verdú, will be joined by new faces such as Alexandra Pino, Ane Rot, Nuno Gallego, and Mario Ermito.

For those eager to say goodbye to the most troublesome and libidinous students on Netflix, there’s good news: the final season of Élite will premiere on July 26. A brief teaser is available to give a glimpse of what’s to come.

‘Until Never, Until Forever’

This finale even has a slogan: the official social media channels for the show have promoted this last season with the phrase ‘Until Never, Util Forever’ featuring images that reference iconic objects and plot points from the series, like the trophy that killed María Pedraza’s character and triggered absolute chaos in the upper echelons.

In the teaser posted by the platform, sex, passion, violence, and luxury are once again the driving forces of the season, as the series bids farewell after accompanying viewers since 2018. Returning to its roots, Mina el Hammani will come back to the main plot. She left the series in the fourth season and will reprise her role as Omar’s sister to face the most dangerous final stretch her character has encountered.

The last season of Élite premieres on July 26 on Netflix.
