Shakira is officially back on U.S. stages with her long-awaited Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, marking her first North American tour in nearly seven years. On May 13, 2025, the Colombian superstar kicked off the U.S. leg with a dazzling show at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, drawing a crowd of 50,000 — a new attendance record for a Latin female solo artist in the city.

A Show to Remember

The concert was a high-energy spectacle filled with 13 costume changes, bold choreography, and a stage production that paid tribute to every era of Shakira’s career. One of the night’s biggest surprises was the guest appearance by Alejandro Sanz, who joined Shakira to perform their classic hit “La Tortura,” celebrating its 20th anniversary. Wyclef Jean also made a special appearance to perform “Hips Don’t Lie” alongside Shakira, igniting the crowd in celebration of that song’s own 20-year milestone.
