Beyond sharing her opinion, Rodrigo also posted a link to the ACLU’s “Know Your Rights” page, encouraging her followers to stay informed. In another Instagram story, she shared a photo from a protest showing a sign with a crossed-out crown and the words “in our U.S.” — seemingly referencing the “No Three Kings Day” demonstrations, held in response to the military parade celebrating President Donald Trump’s birthday.

Rodrigo joins a growing list of artists speaking out against the immigration raids and the deployment of the National Guard in Los Angeles. Others voicing their opposition include Finneas, Shakira, Tyler, Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), The Creator, The Game, Kehlani, Tom Morello, Reneé Rapp, and Rebecca Black.

“F*** ICE,” wrote Tyler in one of his posts, while Finneas condemned the use of tear gas during a peaceful protest on June 8. As the demonstrations continue to grow, so do criticisms from California leaders, many of whom have called the federal actions “unconstitutional and provocative.”
