Karol G has released Mañana Fue Muy Bonito, a Netflix documentary that follows the creative journey behind her hit album Mañana Será Bonito and the hugely successful tour that followed. The film is a true gift for her fans. It offers nearly two hours of behind-the-scenes footage and personal moments that reveal new sides of ‘la Bichota.’

One unexpected surprise in the documentary is the mention of an unreleased song dedicated to Spain titled ‘Ibiza’. While the track hasn’t been made public yet, fans were excited to learn of its existence.

Karol G also opens up more than ever before. She speaks honestly about parts of her personal life she had previously kept private. Like how she moved on from a past relationship and how her connection with Feid began to grow.

Karol G’s Health Condition that Causes Weight Gain

Another powerful moment in the documentary comes when Carolina discusses her body and the physical demands of touring. While showing the intense workouts she follows while on the road, she reveals that she has a hormonal condition that she’s been treating for several years.

“I also have a medical condition that causes weight gain, and it’s something I’ve been constantly criticized for,” Karol shares in the documentary.  She goes on to explain that her body can look completely different depending on the day: “Some days I wake up with a six-pack, super slim and everything, and the next day I can wake up bloated and swollen. My stomach gets inflamed, and I have no control over it.”

The documentary Mañana Fue Muy Bonito also includes an on-screen note that gives more context to her condition. “Karol G receives daily treatment for a hormonal condition that affects her insulin levels.”

Through these honest moments, Karol G shows a side of herself that fans haven’t seen before. One that’s real, vulnerable, and far from the public image of perfection. It’s a powerful reminder that La Bichota is human too, and no one deserves to be unfairly judged for the things they’re going through behind the scenes.
