Is Bad Bunny Getting a Tiny Desk? Leaked Photos Spark Rumors

Benito is among the Latin artists who have yet to appear on one of these concerts

Tiny Desk concerts have become one of the most personal and stripped-down ways to enjoy our favorite artists. Created by NPR, the format brings musicians into a small, intimate space where live instruments and raw vocals take the spotlight. And with Latin music gaining more and more attention around the world, Latin artists have been making a big impression on the Tiny Desk stage.

From reggaetón stars like Maluma to indie voices and traditional Latin sounds like Natalia Lafourcade, their performances have highlighted just how rich and diverse Latin music truly is. Still, there are a few big names who, despite their huge influence in the industry, haven’t had their own session yet. That includes Rosalía, Rauw Alejandro, and—surprisingly—Bad Bunny.

Yes, it’s true: El Conejo Malo hasn’t had an official Tiny Desk performance… or has he? Fans have been asking for it for a long time, but it never seemed to happen. However, that might be changing. A photo recently leaked showing what looks like Benito sitting in the familiar Tiny Desk setup, and it’s already sparking rumors that a performance could be on the way.

What Could We Expect from a Bad Bunny Tiny Desk?

On January 5, 2025, Bad Bunny released his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, following 2023’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. His latest project has been a major success, not just musically but also socially and politically, as several tracks highlight issues affecting his home island of Puerto Rico.

One example is ‘Una Velita,’ where he reflects on the country’s struggles after devastating hurricanes and ongoing power outages. Another is ‘Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii,’ in which Benito expresses concern about Puerto Rico facing a similar situation to Hawaii.

Of course, the album also has its lighter moments. Tracks like ‘DtMF’ or ‘BAILE INoLVIDABLE’ tap into more personal emotions, like the nostalgia of a lost love, offering a break from the more serious themes.

With so many standout songs in his catalog, it’s hard to predict what he’d perform if a Tiny Desk session really is on the way. But if it happens, there’s no doubt it would be a huge moment.
