Camilo has officially joined the lineup for the prestigious Global Citizen Festival, taking place September 27 in New York City’s iconic Central Park. The event not only unites some of music’s biggest names, but also amplifies urgent social causes.

This year, the Colombian star will perform alongside global heavyweights including The Weeknd and Shakira, with actor Hugh Jackman hosting the evening. Jackman is widely recognized for both his Hollywood career and his commitment to humanitarian work.

Camilo’s inclusion in the festival comes on the heels of major career momentum. His latest single, Maldito ChatGPT, has sparked buzz for both its sound and its bold theme. Just days earlier, he appeared at Premios Juventud — Univision’s popular youth awards show — where he earned four nominations, further proving his music’s wide reach and growing influence across the Latin and global music scenes.

This year’s Global Citizen Festival is expected to draw more than 60,000 attendees over a 24-hour period, with three big goals: protecting 30 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest, expanding access to education and sports for 30,000 children, and improving energy access for one million people in Africa. It’s an ideal stage for artists like Camilo, who has consistently shown a strong commitment to social justice and environmental issues.

Now, the countdown is on for the Colombian star’s performance at the Global Citizen Festival, where he’ll stand alongside Shakira, The Weeknd, and many more in the heart of New York City.
