Brit Awards 2025 Winners: Charli XCX Sweeps the Awards

The Brit Awards 2025 ceremony took place on Saturday, March 1, at London’s O2 Arena. The top nominees for this year were revealed during a live stream on the official Brit Awards Instagram and Facebook accounts, showcasing the UK music industry’s favorite artists of the year.

Leading the pack in the British categories werw Charli XCX with five nominations, Dua Lipa with four, Myles Smith with three (including the Rising Star award he’s already received), Central Cee with three, and Jade and Coldplay with two each.

In the international categories, stars like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, and Chappell Roan are among the nominees. It’s shaping up to be an exciting and closely contested awards night.

Charli XCX won the first award with her song ‘Guess’ featuring Billie Eilish for Song of the Year. Sabrina Carpenter, meanwhile, took home the Global Success award and kicked off the Brits with her performance, featuring her hit ‘Espresso’.
