Can you imagine being the brother of one of the world’s most important music stars? Bernie Martínez Ocasio knows exactly what that’s like. As his last name suggests, «Martínez Ocasio,» he is the brother of one of the world’s most influential and listened-to artists. None other than Benito Martínez Ocasio. Yes, the one and only Bad Bunny.

Bernie Martínez has followed in his older brother’s footsteps. However, not in the music world (he leaves that to Benito) but in the fashion realm. After all, one thing Bad Bunny has proven throughout his career is his sixth sense for trends. In fact, his It Boy status has allowed him to attend some of the world’s most important fashion shows and collaborate with various fashion houses.

What we didn’t know is that his younger brother, Bernie, has also inherited this sixth sense for fashion. Perhaps it’s from attending several shows with Bad Bunny over the past few years. Yes, the «Me Porto Bonito» singer has taken Bernie to some of the shows he’s attended.

What Bernie didn’t expect when he started accompanying his brother to fashion shows was that one day he would end up walking the runway himself. And that’s exactly what happened! This past January, during Paris Fashion Week (where new men’s collections for the upcoming season were showcased), Bernie made his debut as a runway model.

Is Bad Bunny’s Brother Following Kendall Jenner’s Footsteps?

As they say, «things come in threes.» Although so far, Bernie has only walked in two Paris shows. On January 28, the model walked for the brand Willy Chavarria. He sported a look that reinvented the hawk style, with a white cowboy hat, matching jeans, and a denim jacket. It looked great on him.

The story doesn’t end there. Bernie is making the rounds at Fashion Weeks, and just this past Monday, he walked again for one of the most talked-about Mexican designers in the world: Campillo.

This time, Bernie wore a completely black design with a feathered collar that fit him like a glove.

Although Bernie had already modeled in photo shoots, he’s now taken a step further, and could be following the same path as his ex-sister-in-law Kendall Jenner: one of the world’s most sought-after top models. Who knows, maybe at some point, the famous member of the Kardashian-Jenner family gave him some advice on walking the runway.
