The Latin music summer has one more card up its sleeve: it’s Rosarito’s turn to turn up the volume. From August 8 to 10, Baja Beach Festival 2025 will once again transform the coastline of Baja California, Mexico, into one of the hottest dance floors in the world.

Its motto — “Menos hate, más perreo” — goes beyond a simple slogan; it captures the essence of a celebration that blends established stars, rising artists, and a stunning beachside location just minutes from the U.S. border.

J Balvin, Don Omar, and Maluma will be headlining one of the most anticipated Latin music festivals, alongside other top-tier artists like Anitta, Young Miko, Natanael Cano, and many more.

Where Is Baja Beach Fest? How to Get There

Rosarito Beach is located about 32 miles south of San Diego, making it just under an hour’s drive from the California border.

For international visitors, the nearest airports are:

  • Tijuana International Airport (TIJ): ~30 minutes to the festival grounds.
  • San Diego International Airport (SAN): ~1 hour away.
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): ~3 hours away.

Many attendees choose to fly into San Diego and cross the border by car or shuttle, enjoying the coastal drive straight to Rosarito.
