After major events like Lollapalooza or Sueños, the festival season keeps heating up, and Baja Beach Fest 2025 is ready to take its turn in the spotlight. From August 8 to 10, Rosarito Beach, Mexico will once again transform into a haven for Latin music lovers. Known for curating a mix of chart-toppers and rising stars, this year’s edition promises one of the most stacked lineups yet—with headliners J Balvin, Don Omar, and Maluma leading the charge.
Friday kicks off with global reggaeton icon J Balvin setting the tone for the weekend. Puerto Rican sensation Young Miko returns to the festival with a major upgrade, proving her meteoric rise in the urban music scene. Making history, Brazilian superstar Anitta becomes the first artist from her country to perform at Baja Beach Fest, while local legends Los Tucanes de Tijuana bring their norteño energy to the beachfront crowd. The Friday lineup is rounded out by El Alfa, Tito Double P, El Malilla, Brray, 3BallMTY, Asmed, and Dynamiqo.
Saturday brings classic reggaeton energy courtesy of Don Omar, a legend in the genre. He’ll be joined by powerhouse performers like Arcangel and Chile’s Cris MJ, whose viral hit “Gata Only” has been dominating playlists. Oscar Maydon will make his solo debut after appearing last year alongside Peso Pluma, while Wisin, Blessd, Yanblack, Kattteyes, Reggaetonlandia, and Deorro bring a dynamic blend of old-school vibes and new-gen talent.
Closing out the festival on Sunday is Maluma, delivering what promises to be a romantic finale. Natanael Cano headlines the Sunday Special Performance, giving fans an easy opportunity to catch his set just south of the border. Spain’s Rels B, Venezuelan hitmaker Danny Ocean, and Mexican breakout Yeri Mua also take the stage. The day’s energy will stay high with sets from Myke Towers, Gordo, De La Rose, ROZ, and DJ Freddy Fresco.
Since its debut in 2018, Baja Beach Fest has grown into one of the most essential festivals in the Latin music calendar. Set against the sun-soaked coastline of Rosarito and just a 45-minute drive from San Diego, the festival is more than just a concert—it’s a full-blown cultural experience. With a slogan like “Menos hate, Más perreo” (“Less hate, more twerking”), Baja Beach Fest 2025 continues its legacy of celebrating Latin music with unforgettable energy, community, and a stunning ocean view.

Latin artists are encountering various limitations due to Donald Trump’s restrictive policies toward migration, including the intensification of deportations by ICE. These measures have posed all kinds of logistical challenges for Latin performers, even leading to the cancellation of shows on U.S. territory.
That is why events like Baja Beach highlight the importance of continuing to provide key spaces for the development of music where everyone is included, and for cultural exchange that continues to bring out the best in society during turbulent times.
