Bad Bunny has impressed all his fans with his new album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos), a studio record that celebrates his roots, Puerto Rican culture, and openly explores themes of nostalgia, the passage of time, disconnection, and emotions like love and heartbreak.
It’s no secret that the artist has often drawn inspiration from his close relationships to compose his songs, and speculation is now growing that this latest release may be directed at someone with whom he shares a very special bond and has described as one of his best friends, Gabriela Berlingeri.
Berlingeri is a Puerto Rican model, jewelry designer, and influencer renowned for her brand Diciembre Veintinueve (December Twenty-Nine). Undoubtedly, she has been an unwavering pillar of support for Benito in recent years.
Their relationship began in 2017. The two met after a Zion & Lennox concert in Puerto Rico, when they crossed paths while Bad Bunny was dining with his family.
“I met her at a restaurant while I was eating with my parents and siblings. We started talking, and from there, we kept seeing each other,” the artist shared with Rolling Stone in 2020. Gabriela also contributed to the interview as a photographer.

Their first public appearance as a couple didn’t occur until 2020, but they had already built a strong connection beforehand. Benito revealed to Rolling Stone that Gabriela helped him record the song Te Gusté, his collaboration with Jennifer Lopez.
“No one knows this, but when I recorded [Te Gusté], the song with Jennifer Lopez, Gabriela recorded reference vocals for J.Lo’s parts,” Bad Bunny explained to the aforementioned media.
In 2020, the pandemic year, they were photographed in public for the first time at an NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks. The couple spent quarantine together, during which Benito released his iconic YHLQMDLG (2020), followed by LAS QUE NO IBAN A SALIR (2020). In this period, they collaborated on the track En Casita.
“Do people really think I’m spending quarantine alone? No, I’m with someone very special in my life,” Bad Bunny shared with Rolling Stone. “Quarantine has shown me that she’s the best partner I could ever have. She’s helped me emotionally when I needed it most.”
Between 2020 and 2022, the couple became one of Latin music’s most beloved pairs. They attended the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards together and often shared moments on social media.
Gabriela featured in various projects, including the promotion of Un Verano Sin Ti and parts of the song El Apagón. She even appeared as Bad Bunny’s bride in the Titi Me Preguntó music video.

Reports placed their breakup between late 2022 and early 2023, around the time Bad Bunny was romantically linked to Kendall Jenner. While the reasons remain private, Gabriela deleted their shared photos from social media.
Months later, Benito clarified that Gabriela and him remained close friends.
“You guys don’t know anything. Gabriela and I are best friends. If tomorrow she wants a boyfriend, she can have one, and if I want a girlfriend, I can have one. People talk, and it makes me laugh,” he said during an Instagram Live.
In his 2023 album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, Bad Bunny expressed gratitude for his friendship with Gabriela in the song ACHO PR, saying, “Thank you, God, for putting Jan, Noah, and Gabriela in my life.”
Gabriela has been present during key moments in Bad Bunny’s career, including his headlining performance at Coachella. She also attended the listening party for his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. Lyrics from this album suggest that Gabriela continues to inspire some of the Conejo Malo’s songs.
