Taylor Swift Dominates the Night

To no one’s surprise, Taylor Swift was the most awarded artist of the night, taking home a total of nine trophies, including Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. Post Malone followed with nine wins as well, including two shared with Swift for their collaboration on Fortnight. Rounding out the list of top winners were Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, FEID, Shinedown, and Peso Pluma, each earning two awards.

A Diverse and Expansive List of Winners

The biggest honor of the iHeartRadio Music Awards went to Benson Boone. While his performance at other events, like the Grammys, went largely unnoticed—something many consider unfair—his song Beautiful Things was undeniably named Song of the Year. This track has been one of the most played worldwide, with its lyrics and sound breaking conventional pop norms.

One of the night’s biggest surprises was Gracie Abrams. That’s So True became a global sensation, earning her the award for Best New Artist. Meanwhile, the Duo of the Year award went to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for Die With A Smile, and Billie Eilish took home Album of the Year for HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, an album many felt was snubbed at the Grammys.

In terms of genres, Shinedown dominated rock, SZA and Usher led in R&B, and Post Malone and Shaboozey stood out in country. The hip-hop/rap categories were spread across multiple artists, including GloRilla, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and BossMan Dlow. Meanwhile, in the urban music categories, FEID, Shakira, Peso Pluma, and Kapo were among the standouts.
