Even though this single was originally planned as a solo release, it ended up being a collaboration because Robi teamed up with fellow artist Young Miko. The author of att. mentioned it’s ‘one of my favorite tracks.’ She added in her Instagram stories, “Robi, thanks for including me and for making this happen. Love you lots. In their latest music video, we get to see Baby Miko sporting a new look with red hair instead of her platinum color, which seems to be the trend this year. Another cool thing they did to show their bond was changing their profile pictures: Robi’s now has a white cat dressed as Robin (a nod to his stage name), Batman’s loyal sidekick, while Miko’s shows a Siamese cat wearing a flower crown.
Robi is a Puerto Rican artist, singer, and songwriter whose real name is Roberto Chabrier Báez Moraza. According to his YouTube profile, he ‘writes songs about love, heartbreak, and dance.’
He started playing the drums at the age of 6 and later studied percussion at the Escuela Libre de Música in Puerto Rico. At 13, he wrote his first song for a school project. By 14, he had moved to Tampa, Florida, where he played the xylophone and was part of his high school band. Robi made his debut in 2020 with the song «Cucando,» marking the beginning of his career in music.
Besides his latest single and the other collaborations mentioned, Robi has teamed up with well-known artists in our country like Paula Koops on «Me Gustas Tanto,» Jay Wheeler on «Garabatos,» and Piso 21 on «Sigo Feliz.»
