Young Miko, as we all know, is one of the big names in the new wave of urban music artists. Her popularity keeps rising with each new release, and it seems like there’s no stopping her growth. But, as she revealed in an interview with LOS40 Spain’s ‘Originales Urban’, she’s not about to forget where she came from or the people who have supported her along the way.
To show her appreciation for their ongoing support, the artist dropped her debut studio album, att., on April 5th. It’s like a heartfelt letter, delving into themes of love, heartbreak, her journey as an artist, and, of course, the loyal fan base that’s been with her from the start.
This album consists of 16 songs, all of which have already become anthems among her numerous fans. In her song «Rookie Of The Year,» she reflects her journey so far.
Rookie of the year, respect to all artists; Now I see my name at the top of all the charts; no, and I wasn’t even prepared; Rising with the same ones since 105 Freestyle.”
In addition to the tracks we’ve already heard, like «ID» featuring Jowell & Randy, «Wiggy,» and «Curita,» the Puerto Rican artist brings us 13 new songs. Urban beats take the spotlight, blending elements of trap, rap, hip hop, and reggaeton. But there are also hints of dance and pop influences. Essentially, Miko isn’t sticking to one genre, which opens up opportunities to connect with an even larger audience. Villano Antillano, Dei V, Elena Rose, Jowell & Randy, and Feid are among the featured artists on this exciting new project.
Among the collaborations featured in this new tracklist, one that stands out is the one with Feid. Following their success together on «Classy 101,» a song where the Colombian artist has always wanted to highlight Miko’s talent in songwriting, so they team up again for «offline.» The reggaeton beats dominate their verses as they narrate a tale of heartbreak, with one person reflecting on a farewell to someone they’ve parted ways with permanently.
In essence, Miko makes a strong landing with her album att., solidifying her position as one of the most promising artists for the future.
