Legal actions against rapper Sean Combs, better known as Puff Diddy, continue to grow. Just a few days ago, on December 8, a woman took the step to sue the rapper and Jay-Z, the singer and husband of Beyoncé, for allegedly assaulting her when she was only 13 years old at a post-MTV Video Music Awards party in 2000.

This new accusation adds to more than a hundred sexual abuse lawsuits filed by both men and women, as well as girls, against the subject. For now, despite the scandal, he has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is in prison awaiting a trial scheduled for May 5 of next year.

The latest to speak out about the situation is the well-known actor Will Smith, who completely disassociated himself with absolute certainty from this web of abuse, violence, and prostitution.

«The world we’re in right now is really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true,” Smith told TMZ. “I been seeing y’all memes and stuff, you’ve been making memes. I’ve seen the memes. Some of the stuff is funny. But I haven’t addressed any of this publicly but I want to say this very clear: I don’t have shit to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes. Stop all of that bullshit.”

He went on to clarify that he had never been involved with Combs’ parties and already has plenty on his plate to manage.

“I ain’t been anywhere near no damn freak off,” he added. “I do enough of my own shit, don’t be putting me in other people’s shit. I ain’t been nowhere near that man, ain’t did none of that stupid shit. So whatever y’all hearing, if somebody say that, it’s a damn lie. I ain’t even like baby oil.”

Will Smith’s Connection to the Diddy Scandal

In October, after the Diddy controversy erupted, there was speculation about whether Will Smith, like several other celebrities connected to the singer who had attended his infamous «white parties,» might have some involvement or at least knowledge of what was happening.

The speculation began with the resurfacing of a video featuring Will and his son, Jaden Smith (26), from a 2013 interview on The Woody Talk Show, a Thai TV program.

In a joking moment, Will asks his son for a kiss. When Jaden refuses, Will grabs his face and kisses him on the lips, an action that prompts Jaden to react with a look of disgust— a moment that became controversial years later.

Because of this, alongside the accusations against P. Diddy on social media, users began paying special attention to problematic moments involving celebrities, like this one. However, there are currently no legal cases linking the actor to the rapper.
