It’s clear that what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have is pure love. They’ve shown time and again that they get butterflies whenever they’re together, and fans of both couldn’t be happier. One more sign of their connection came during Taylor’s speech at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). While accepting the award for Video of the Year for ‘Fortnight’ with Post Malone, she made sure to mention her boyfriend in a special way.
“Something that I’ll always remember is that when, when I would finish a take, and I’d and I’d say cut, and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it, and that one person was my boyfriend, Travis,” she said. “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot.”

Even though he was a big part of her speech, Kelce couldn’t be at the event in person. But there’s a good reason for that. According to Page Six, the Kansas City Chiefs player had to train with his team. Since the NFL season just kicked off a week ago, his professional commitments kept him from celebrating with Taylor in person. But we’re sure they’ll find time to celebrate together as soon as they see each other again.
As we mentioned earlier, Taylor took the stage multiple times throughout the night to collect her awards. She led the evening with a total of seven trophies. Out of the 12 nominations she received, she won for Best Video, Artist of the Year, Best Pop Artist, Best Collaboration, Song of the Summer, Best Direction, and Best Editing. Congratulations to Taylor Swift and all the Swifties!
