Billboard Boxscore has been tracking artists’ tour earnings since 1980, giving them the ability to rank the most successful tours. Last year, Bad Bunny was at the top, pulling in $314.1 million from 43 shows on his World’s Hottest Tour (2022). However, a year later, a new tour has taken over. Another artist has surpassed Bad Bunny, setting a new record with his current tour, raking in over $318 million from 146 concerts—and it’s still going.
Since the pandemic, when Latin music became the fastest-growing genre in the U.S., tour revenues have reached incredible new heights. In the post-pandemic period, five Latin tours managed to sell over 1.5 million tickets—a record no other Latin tour had ever reached before. Before the pandemic, none had even hit the one-million mark. With that said, Billboard has released the ranking of the 10 most profitable Latin tours, based on data collected up to September 18, 2024.
