The protagonist of the video has been generating a lot of buzz on social media. The singer shared a reel on her Instagram profile featuring several images with the lead actor, as they were preparing for the video’s release. Many who viewed the photos quickly recognized Shakira’s companion; indeed, it is Lucien Laviscount, the actor from the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris.
The 31-year-old actor, who holds British nationality and has Greek roots on his father’s side, as well as two siblings, Jules and Louis, started his acting career at the age of ten in Clocking Off. He made his way to the big screen in 2014 with One Night in Istanbul, directed by James Marquand.
