Belinda, one of the great divas of Mexican pop who has recently stormed our Lista LOS40 USA with «Cactus,» a breakup song aimed at her ex-partner Christian Nodal, has been admitted to the hospital urgently.
In the early hours of March 21, the artist posted a statement on her social networks announcing the cancellation of her next show in the Mexican city of Veracruz.
«To all the fans of Coatzacoalcos and the general public, we regret to inform you that Belinda will not be able to perform at the concert scheduled for Friday, March 22, at the Expo Feria Coatza, due to a health problem. Because of her doctor’s instructions, she had to be hospitalized,» the statement signed by Joymusic Entertainment begins. «Belinda’s health is our main concern at this time, and we hope to reschedule the concert for a future date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,» it concludes.
Belinda herself has also posted an Instastory where her arm can be seenlying on the hospital bed and hugging a soft toy. «Health always has to be the most important thing,» she wrote.
What Happened to Belinda?
At the moment, the reasons for the Mexican artist’s hospitalization in the last few hours are unknown.
However, this is not the first time this month that the singer has been forced to stop due to health problems. On March 2, Belinda also canceled her appearance at the Bésame Mucho 2024 Festival due to severe discomfort, the causes of which have not been revealed either.
One of the Mexican’s latest public appearances was on February 29, when she was present at the Central de Abastos in the Iztapalapa borough, Mexico City, inaugurating a mural in her honor.
