The traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, set to take place on November 28, 2024, in New York City, will feature an impressive lineup of international artists, including Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, and T-Pain, among others.

This parade, one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, is not only famous for its giant balloons and majestic floats but also for its live musical performances. Artists from all genres perform along the route, offering a vibrant and musical spectacle. This year’s event will be broadcast live on NBC starting at 8:30 AM.

Since its inception in 1924, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has become a unique celebration in the United States, bringing together thousands of spectators and millions more in front of their screens. In addition to concerts, the parade features a wide variety of attractions, from school bands to theatrical performances, making it a reflection of the cultural diversity that characterizes both New York and the country.

This year, in addition, we will once again have Latin talent among the performances. Sebastián Yatra and Natti Natasha will be appearing!

Sebastián Yatra, the Colombian singer known for his melodic voice and romantic ballads, has continued to achieve success in 2024. In September, Yatra released his single Los Domingos, an acoustic ballad marking a return to his romantic roots.

The song has been well-received by his fans, who had been eagerly awaiting his return after a period of no new music. The singer also released Energía Bacana in 2023 (with the iconic cameo of Georgina Rodriguez in the music video), an upbeat and optimistic track that celebrates love and good vibes, solidifying his place as one of the most versatile artists in Latin pop.

This year, Yatra (despite his sudden breakup with the Spanish singer Aitana) not only released new songs but also enjoyed great success with his recent hit 2AM with Bad Gyal. Furthermore, the Colombian artist made his Broadway debut on November 25 in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre, where he will perform as Billy Flynn in the acclaimed production until December 22.

On the other hand, Natti Natasha, the Dominican singer and songwriter, has continued to stand out as one of the most powerful voices in reggaeton and urban music. In 2024, Natti has released several singles that have been a huge success on digital platforms. Her ability to blend urban genres with touches of pop has placed her at the forefront of Latin music. What would current reggaeton be without her iconic anthem Sin Pijama alongside Becky G?
