Tainy, at just 34 years old, has spent over a decade producing music for some of the biggest names in the industry and establishing himself as a force in the world of reggaetón. Throughout these years, he’s put his heart and soul into each project. So, when his highly anticipated debut album finally dropped, the Puerto Rican producer enlisted the help of numerous friends.
In the summer of 2023, Tainy released DATA, featuring 19 unforgettable collaborations with well-known artists such as Wisin & Yandel, Arcángel, Jhayco, Young Miko, Mora, Daddy Yankee, Feid, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, Julieta Venegas, Álvaro Díaz, and even Spanish artist Judeline.
On the night of January 5, Tainy took this album to a whole new level with an extraordinary live performance. This special event, known as ‘DATA Loading,’ was a unique 360° audiovisual experience produced by the creative duo NEON16, One-Six, Lex Borrero, and Ivanni Rodriguez.
Over 16,000 people were captivated by this show at the prestigious Coliseum of Puerto Rico, one of the largest and most important venues in the region. This remarkable achievement made him the first producer to sell out tickets at the renowned ‘Choliseo.’
During the concert, Tainy brought to life SENA, the anime character at the heart of his album. This fictional character came alive on stage, representing an emotional journey. In Tainy’s own words: “Bringing SENA to life was a central concept of tonight’s program. It’s about the fusion of music, emotion, and storytelling,” mentioned Tainy in a press release.
The ‘DATA Loading’ show was a collaborative effort between NEON16 and Move Concerts, going beyond the boundaries of a typical concert to offer a multisensory experience. Tainy was joined by notable figures such as Bad Bunny, Luny Tunes, Nely, Arcangel, and more than 15 artists, all contributing to live renditions of over 80 songs during a nearly three-hour show.
We’ve created more than just a music show; it’s a storytelling journey with profound cultural impact, spanning a decade of Reggaetón music” –Lex Borrero.
The concert unfolded as a visual spectacle, with Tainy performing within specially designed transparent cubes that transformed into his studio, providing an intimate look at his creative process. Over 600 lighting variations, state-of-the-art audio systems, and massive screens combined to create an unmatched atmosphere, taking the audience on a thrilling journey through Tainy’s extensive catalog.
