Last week wasn’t exactly a week of love, even though it coincided with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. One of the most influential couples in Latin music, none other than the number one in Mexican music Peso Pluma and the Argentine trap star Nicki Nicole, ended their relationship after a viral scandal.
Nicki herself confirmed this, posting a brief statement implying that, indeed, she was no longer in a relationship with the Jalisco-born artist, hinting at the confirmation of rumors of infidelity with another woman in Las Vegasafter the Super Bowl celebration, the influencer Sahar Sonia.

The Argentine artist has continued to be active on social media and, of course, has carried out her scheduled performances in Guatemala and at the Vibra Urbana festival in Miami. She has even directed some indirect comments towards Peso Pluma. «You’ll have to choose if you want me or if you want her… love her, honey!» the artist said with laughter in the chorus of «qué le pasa conmigo?» her collaboration with Spanish urban artist Rels B.
However, in the case of Peso Pluma, the reaction has been completely different. Obviously, they are not in the same position, but the world has been eagerly awaiting the artist to break his silence after the shocking events of the past week. Finally, several days after their highly publicized breakup, the creator of GENESIS (2023) has returned to post on his Instagram account.
However, it wasn’t to comment on his breakup but to share in stories his latest collaboration with Junior H, a heartbreak song that could be dedicated to Nicki Nicole based on some of the lyrics. Nevertheless, Double P has not made any further statements on the matter or provided more clues about how and where he currently stands, beyond what appears to be a professional commitment.
