As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to look back on the year’s music milestones through data. Platforms like Apple Music and Spotify lead the way in this effort. Spotify, for instance, revealed in its 2024 Wrapped that the most-streamed artist of the year was Taylor Swift (unsurprising, right?), followed by The Weeknd.

In third place came the king of Latin music: Bad Bunny. Despite not releasing much music this year (aside from «Una Velita» and collaborations like «ADIVINO» with Myke Towers and «Qué Pasaría with» Rauw Alejandro), he held strong.

Benito is followed by other Latin stars. Peso Pluma, thanks to his reinterpretation of corridos tumbados, solidified a spot in the global rankings with the release of his latest album, ÉXODO. Similarly, Feid continues to conquer the international scene as a real «always-on artist.» Both are in the global top 10 of the year’s most-streamed artists.
