Have you ever thought about what your ideal festival lineup would be? Who would you put as the headliners? Ours might look a bit like the Vibra Urbana festival lineup, a celebration that had its highly anticipated debut this past weekend in Miami, on February 17th and 18th.

Genre superstars convened in the Magic City to showcase their best performances, giving us an event filled with memorable moments and firsts. The day kicked off with Anuel AA, who, although didn’t seem to take the stage in the happiest mood, delivered a high-energy show. We’re not sure if his feelings had to do with coinciding with Arcángel at the same event after their viral beef, but it’s a possibility. Soon, any frustration seemed to fade as he surprised the audience by joining Ozuna on stage for collaborations like «La Ocasión» and «Bad Boy.»

Reggaeton references such as Farruko, YoungChimi, Luar la L, Jay Wheeler, and Dei V continued to heat up the stage in their own unique ways. Farruko, the performer of «Pepas,» took a moment during his show to pay tribute to Latinos living in the United States, expressing, «I want to greet my Cuban brothers, my friends from Venezuela, El Salvador, Central America, Guatemala, Argentina, Mexico… Where are the Latinos in the house? It doesn’t matter the adversities you had to go through; the important thing is that we are alive, my people, and there is health,» shared the artist in an emotional moment.

Young Miko created a frenzy by performing the hyper-viral BZRP Music Session Vol. 58 for one of the first times. She also performed and danced to other popular hits like «FINA,» his collaboration with Bad Bunny, and «Colmillo,» his song with Tainy and J Balvin.

On Sunday, February 18th, another day of thrilling emotions unfolded, inaugurated by the explosive Rauw Alejandro, who had the crowd buzzing. The artist shared the setlist for his performance before taking the stage, so we know his fans were more than ready! There were some motivational messages from the artist: «Overcome what hurts you and fight for what you want,» shouted the Puerto Rican before singing «No Me Sueltes.»

Next, Bizarrap gave us one of the highlights of the night with Argentine trap star Nicki Nicole. The young Rosario native has had intense days following her breakup with Mexican artist Peso Pluma, performing first in Guatemala and then for the first time in Miami.

Veteran reggaeton artist Arcángel also rocked the stage, performing for an eagerly anticipating Miami crowd, hungry for hits like «La Jumpa.» After the release of his latest studio album in 2023, the Puerto Rican artist has several tricks up his sleeve for 2024, including a potential collaboration with Karol G that may have accidentally (or not) leaked.

Reggaeton queen Ivy Queen activated everyone with her set full of «fronteo» and female power, delivering one of the most explosive performances on the closing day of the Vibra Urbana Festival.

Nicki Nicole performed for the first time in Miami, warmly welcomed by the audience, even in the midst of the rain. However, that didn’t stop the Argentine from singing her heart out with hits like «Mamichula» and «Una Foto Remix,» while also sending love to her fellow countrymen in attendance.

Other influential and emerging artists on the scene, such as Rels B, Gale, and Alvaro Diaz, also gave us unique and memorable performances, setting the stage for future editions of the festival.
