Kenia Os, the Mexican sensation who skyrocketed to fame on the internet and later ventured into the music industry, has brought some thrilling news. After a two-year gap without releasing any studio album, her fans were eagerly awaiting her next project. Although there had been rumors circulating about it, it wasn’t until Wednesday, April 3, that the singer officially confirmed her new album in collaboration with the digital platform Spotify. She also revealed the tracklist and announced the official release date.
A few days ago, Kenia had a standout performance at the Mexican festival Pal’ Norte, and just before that, she made a drastic change to her appearance: she dyed her dark black hair blonde. This change signaled a new era, as she confirmed herself in mid-March when she posted a video on Instagram with the caption ‘new era is coming.’
Titled Pink Aura, her new music album is characterized by a lot of pink, and the single «Bobo» with Álvaro Díaz had already hinted at the aesthetic to come. Featuring Kenia Os as a blonde on a giant pink rabbit, the album’s cover sets the stage for the anticipation of her new music.
