Karol G is experiencing one of the most exciting phases of her career. She’s touring the world with her album Mañana Será Bonito (2023), loaded with songs that have become international hits. Thanks to this experience, she’s reconnecting and meeting fans who have dreamt of seeing the «Bichota» on stage for years and who try to show their love from the audience. But sometimes, this affection knows no bounds.

During one of her recent shows, the Colombian received a gift from a fan live on stage, but what she didn’t expect is that it would end up landing on her face. Luckily, it was a stuffed toy, so the artist didn’t suffer any harm. In fact, the plushie is a mini version of Feid, the Colombian artist with whom Karol is in a relationship (and who keeps receiving the public attacks of her former partner, the reggaeton artist Anuel AA).

Upon receiving the impact of the plushie on her face, she looks down and picks it up to hold it under one of her arms. She doesn’t comment on it and continues with the show.

Those who have reacted are users on social media, and opinions are highly divided. On one hand, there are those who are upset that someone threw an object at their favorite artist on stage, and on the other hand, there are those who downplay it because it was a plushie. «Anyone would be annoyed,» says one follower. «As long as it’s not a bottle or a stone, it’s all good,» adds another user. «It’s disrespectful, and I won’t argue about it,» and «Don’t make such a big deal» are other messages that can be read.
