Following the break from large gatherings due to Covid-19, which kept us away from concerts, we’re now catching up on all the missed fun. And what better way to dive back into big events than with concerts, becoming more and more tailored to individual tastes. Last year saw the start of the ARRE fest, celebrating regional Mexican music. Now, there’s a new festival mainly focused on Pop, a genre that’s popular but has taken a back seat to reggaeton, urban music, and regional Mexican tunes lately.

Hera Festival’s motto is ‘De Ellas Para Todxs (From Them For Everyone)’. It’s not just about enjoying great music; it’s also about shaking things up in the entertainment world by featuring only female talent. Hera’s goal is to tackle gender inequality on stage, so all the artists at the festival will be empowered women aiming to strengthen the feminist movement in a show designed for everyone.

Even though the spotlight is on women, it’s been made clear that the female singers performing will have the freedom to invite anyone they want to join them on stage, whether they’re male artists, other women, or from the LGBTQ+ community.
