In their quest to blend their pure reggaeton essence with other styles, Feid and ATL Jacob have reached the pinnacle of success and touched the sky of LOS40 with «LUNA.» Both artists rose to the top on Saturday, March 30, as Global No. 1 in all the countries where LOS40 is present.

Feid’s ‘LUNA:’ A Destiny Sign

The song, which blends Latin rhythms with hip hop, was recorded in Milan last October but was not released until December with the publication of the EP Ferxxocalipsis. On the way to the studio, Feid and his team had a flat tire. The Colombian interpreted it as a sign of destiny and had a good feeling. He said, «Today we are going to make history»… and he was not wrong.

Months later, the singer decided to release the song as a single in early March, also launching a music video as a gesture of gratitude for all the love and unconditional support he has been receiving throughout his career. «We made this video thinking of you, we gave it all the love possible, a thousand thousand thanks for believing in ‘Ferkito’,» he expressed through social media.

This music video was shot in Joshua Tree National Park, located in Southern California. It is a natural setting where stars like Ariana Grande, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, Post Malone, or Kesha have also filmed some of their music videos.

Feid has become one of the most listened-to Latin artists of 2024, and we expect him to bring us a year full of more and more hits.

ATL Jacob, The Rap Rising Star

In «LUNA,» Feid has collaborated with producer Jacob Denzal Canady, better known as ATL Jacob. This urban star from Atlanta has already caught the attention of big names in hip hop, such as Future, Drake, or Nicki Minaj, despite his short career in the industry. In fact, at the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards, he collected the golden gramophone for Best Melodic Rap Performance for the hit «Wait for U» on behalf of Future, Drake, and Tems. «My brother Future can’t be here, but he’s very grateful. I want to thank everyone. I love you all. And I want to send greetings to my mother,» he declared at the award ceremony.

Together —Ferxxo and Jacob— they have managed to simultaneously reach the Global Number 1 position on LOS40 in 12 countries: Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, USA, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Guatemala. Thus, it is the fifth collaboration to achieve this milestone, following Karol G and Shakira with TQG; Shakira and Bizarrap with Bzrp Music Sessions vol. 53; Quevedo and Bizarrap with Bzrp Music Sessions vol. 52; Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran with BAM BAM, and Alejandro Sanz and Alicia Keys with Looking For Paradise.
