Argylle is the latest film from renowned filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, featuring a stellar cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Henry Cavill, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Samuel Jackson, and others. This film adds to Vaughn’s impressive lineup of spy movies, which includes the highly acclaimed ‘Kingsman’ series, ‘X-Men: First Class,’ and ‘Kick-Ass.’
While it’s rooted in the spy genre, ‘Argylle: Secret Agent’ offers a fresh take on the genre by presenting a storyline that blends elements from both the real world and fiction.

The plot of Argylle was closely guarded for years, so we won’t spoil the movie if you haven’t seen it yet. But, in simple terms, Argylle follows Elly Conway, a famous but introverted spy novelist who rarely leaves her home. Her life takes an unexpected turn when events in her novels start mirroring her reality.
Conway’s life spirals into chaos when she encounters Aiden on a train, a real-life spy who claims to have saved her from a potential kidnapping or worse. Aiden introduces her, along with her cat, to a world of spies and murder that she had only previously imagined for her books.
