A few days ago, Coldplay shared a new preview of one of the tracks from their upcoming album Moon Music. Alongside Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and TINI, Chris Martin sings ‘WE PRAY,’ a song that brings a message of hope when we feel lost. We’ve already seen them perform it on the streets of Ireland.

Each artist who collaborated on this song has recorded their own version, which will be released gradually. The Spanish version by Argentine artist TINI was released this Friday, September 6. In this version, as in the rest of the song, we’re encouraged to face each day with hope and to smile at life, even when our hearts are broken. As Tini reminds us, sometimes things happen for a reason.

We have to accept it—if we got lost, maybe it was to find each other
And we fall to learn how to rise again, to embrace each other
Because living is understanding that everything happens for a reason
And little by little, we toast to broken hearts
Smiling just for the photo, all of us
Looking up at the sky from the ground, we are the same skin.”

Live Preview

As we mentioned earlier, the band and their guests gave us a sneak peek of ‘WE PRAY’ with a live performance at their recent concert at Croke Park in Dublin, after first playing it on the street. However, it was the singer herself who announced the release date on her social media and shared a small preview of how her part of the song would sound. Fellow artists in the industry showed their support for her. “WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE🥹🤍,” TINI shared after the show. “Total rockstar🔥,” commented Cali y El Dandee.

There’s also going to be an Arabic version, thanks to Elyanna, but we’ll have to wait until September 20 to hear it. It’s clear they have a well-organized plan to give this song some serious attention.

This track will be part of Moon Music, Coldplay’s highly anticipated album that Chris Martin has been talking about recently. He’s described it as a collection of songs that reflect the answers he’s found in his search to understand both the external and internal conflicts that worry him.
