Chino Pacas Drops ‘Modo Capone’ with Drake and JOP: English Lyrics

Chino Pacas is one of the youngest and most promising artists in the new wave of regional Mexican music. At just 18, he went viral on TikTok with his hit ‘El Gordo Trae El Mando,’ which caught the attention of JOP from Fuerza Regida. The success of that track led to a record deal with Street Mob Records, PFL, and Geffen Records. From there, Pacas’ career skyrocketed as he blended his Mexican roots with modern sounds in new and creative ways.

This momentum helped him land on several Billboard charts with songs like ‘El Gordo Trae El Mando,’ ‘Dijeron Que No Lo Iba a Lograr,’ and ‘Que Onda.’ Recently, he released his debut album, Que Sigan Llegando Las Pacas, a 13-song mix of urban sierreño and corridos tumbados that highlights his raw creativity.

The album features collaborations with major artists like Canadian superstar Drake, Fuerza Regida, Junior H, Gabito Ballesteros, Armenta, and Turo Pacas. JOP from Fuerza Regida and Nessell ‘Chubbs’ Beezer from PFL served as executive producers on the album.

‘Modo Capone’

To celebrate the release of his new album, which also happens to coincide with his 18th birthday, Chino Pacas launched the music video for ‘Modo Capone’ featuring Drake and JOP from Fuerza Regida. The video, shot in Houston, Texas, and directed by Chris Villa, shows Pacas and JOP arriving at a villa with their crews, complete with a horse ranch, while Drake makes a standout appearance, singing in Spanish.

Chino Pacas made history with this track, as it’s the first time Drake, one of the most influential hip-hop artists of the past decade, has collaborated on a regional Mexican song.
