Big news for Shakira’s fans! The Colombian legend is joining the 2024 Besame Mucho Festival lineup, alongside other Latin headlining icons such as Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Los Tigres del Norte, Banda MS, Juanes, Carlos Vives, Gloria Trevi, and Paulina Rubio.
Besame Mucho has become one of the most significant festivals for Latin music in the United States. Inaugurated in 2022 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, produced by Live Nation, and quickly selling out, it created a cultural moment by bringing together 58 artists from various genres, including rock, pop, Mexican music, salsa, and more.
Now in 2024, it’s making its second appearance of the year. After being held in Austin, Texas in March, a state where Hispanics make up the largest share of the population, it’s now coming to Los Angeles for the third time in a row. Recent figures show that Hispanics and Latinos made up 46% of the city’s inhabitants back in 2020.
