More and more artists are using their voice and influence to share their public opinions on politics. The United States presidential elections have crossed borders, and the battle between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for power is becoming increasingly evident.
The latest to share her opinion publicly has been Billie Eilish. In a video posted on social media, where her brother Finneas also appears, she called on all citizens to vote for the Democratic Party.
«We’re voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our freedoms, our planet, and our democracy,» they declared, looking into the camera.

«We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future,» they continued. «The only way to stop them and their dangerous 2025 project is by voting and electing Kamala Harris,» they concluded boldly.
This isn’t the first time the artist has shown support for the progressive candidate. In one of the latest campaign ads, the singer’s voice can be heard in the background. It’s another clear sign of where she stands. In 2020, Eilish also supported Biden as the ideal candidate in that year’s election.Other Personalities
In addition to Billie, many other well-known figures have spoken out against Donald Trump. Taylor Swift, one of the most influential international singers, also shared her honest opinion a few days ago: «Like many of you, I watched tonight’s debate. If you haven’t done so yet, now is a good time to research the issues at stake and the positions these candidates take on the issues that matter most to you. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read as much as I can about the policies and plans they propose for this country.» Her words resonated so much with the audience that even Trump responded with a «I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT» on social media.
Like Kamala, Trump also has some well-known supporters, most of whom come from the urban music scene. Names like Nicky Jam, Anuel AA, and Justin Quiles have made appearances at speeches for the Republican candidate.
«Thank you, Mr. President, for inviting us. It’s a great pleasure to be here. I’m from Puerto Rico, we are a big part of the U.S., and we depend on the U.S. Since Trump hasn’t been here, it’s no secret that the country has been through a lot… Biden promised, always promised… A lot of politicians have promised things over the years, but we all know, the world knows that the best president this country has ever had is President Trump. So to my fellow Puerto Ricans: let’s stay united, let’s vote for Trump,» the Puerto Rican artist stated.
After the open battle between both sides, we’ll have to wait until November 5 to find out who will win the presidency.
